A wonderful trip to "wasgamuwa national park"
Today in this blog I’m going to talk about a trip where I spent 3 days in a national park in Sri Lanka One of my fathers friend arrange this trip so that 4 families join with us for this trip. We went on this trip on last July.
It was a bit sunny day and we start the trip in the morning. We had our lunch in a resturant in Awissawella and we reached the Wasgamuwa national park by evening.
It was dark at that time we reached there. So we planned to have a bath from a river near the bungalow where we spent the nights. It was quite a good experience as I have not bath in a river at night time. After the bath we all came to the bungalow and had the dinner. Afterwards all of the families got together and had a chill bye having a chat about the past days. That was time I got so Afraid because one crocodile came near the bungalow. So we suddenly got up from the chairs and went inside the bungalow. Then we asked from the person who is in-charge of this bungalow how this crocodile came here, then only we got to know there are some crocodiles in the river we bathed in the evening. Still I’m thinking what will happen if one of that crocodile came when we were bathing. So at the same time the forest department took actions to take that crocodile away from the house. From the first day itself it was a big experience for me.
The next day morning, they organized a jungle safari for us to get a better experience with the wild life. So all of us got into the cabs and we were roaming around the jungle.
We saw the rare animals like fox, different species of birds, elephants and also we saw a lion but luckily he was so far away from us that he wont able to attack us. So we enjoyed a lot and still we were roaming around the forest and suddenly an angry elephant came and tried to attack our vehicle. Luckily we took a guide along with us. If not that will be the last day of all of us. And again that elephant didn’t let us to go. I don’t know why he was that much angry. Any how the guide took actions to send him back. Everyone who was in the safari cab was so scared and so panic. Anyhow we all luckily came back to the bungalow in the evening.
On the third day morning we got ready to go back to home. This 3 days was a big experience for me because it was a different experience apart from going for usual trips to beaches and hotels because even we didn’t had signal for the phones so it was literally the best experience that a person can get who’s living in Sri Lanka, but I know we took a big risk for our life but all the safety measure was taken by the people who were in-charge the forest even though its a scary experience for the people who are living there its not a big deal for them. This was the experience that I got and also I need to tell you guys I made this short and because to make you guys not getting bored. Also I have added plenty of photos of the trip so you can see them and get the same kind of experience I got by reading this.
