Experience that I got from trying "Sushi"

 


This is a experience that I got from trying A Japanese food called "sushi". I really enjoyed having these sushi’s so I thought of doing a research of sushi. So this blog is about the research I have done about sushi.


 

Japanese people has their own authentic food pattern. Now a days Japanese food is very popular among the people all over the world. they have there traditional cooking style for every food they make. Not only the food, 80% of the countries use fork and spoons to eat, but the Japanese use two sticks which is named as "chopsticks". They use these chopsticks because the food that is common in japan match well with chopsticks.  Even these chopsticks was invented by china, in the end Japanese chopsticks underwent a certain changes to match their own culinary culture. So in this blog I’m going to give a idea of how Japanese has their own  authentic style of food named as sushi. 


Sushi



It is a authentic Japanese dish which is prepared with vinegared rice, usually with some salt and sugar, accompanied by a variety of ingredients such as; raw seafood (sometimes cooked) such as Salmon. Eel, Squid, Crab, Octopus and tuna and vegetables are also used according to the preference. These sushi has been invented long time ago around 1824. This is commonly considered as a fast food or a appetizer. These sushi’s has varieties but in every sushi’s the sushi rice is the key ingredient. the variety of sushi’s are explained below.


1.  Nigiri Sushi- This is a type of sushi most known today, in which seafood is placed on hand-pressed vinegared rice.

2. Sashimi - that consists of thinly sliced raw fish or occasionally meat with some sliced carrot or any other vegetable.

3. Sushi roll - a raw or a cooked fish, meat or vegetable is kept in the middle and rolled with the help of a edible paper called seaweed and around of the seaweed the rice will be there.

These are the varieties of sushi’s but in every variety there are types of sushi’s which will be differ with the ingredients used.





Some the types of each variety is mentioned below.


1. Nigiri - Salmon Nigiri, Tuna nigiri,  Ebi nigiri etc.

2. Sashimi - Salmon sashimi, Tuna sashimi etc.

3. Sushi rolls - California, Ebi tempura masago, rainbow roll, Dragon roll, cucumber roll.


These every sushi are served with pickled Ginger, soya sauce and wasabi which is made up of the stem of a plant name wasabi. 


In conclusion, although it is a very popular food according to my research these raw fish are very unhealthy because before the fish is cooked, it consists of tons of bacteria, too much mercury and also these raw fish may contains parasites. Everyone need to try this food and leave me a feed back if you agree with me, that this is a different experience and a different taste. I think if you tempting to try sushi’s you need to go with cooked fish or else with vegetables which will be healthy to eat than that of raw fish.
